My stay at the hotel was lovely. The rooms in the old stable on the ground floor with a window opening onto the courtyard were beautifully designed and charming. They were nicely furnished, well-appointed, and had good lighting. The toiletries provided were a nice touch. The service, though mostly nice and pleasant, had moments where I needed to track someone down, but the staff made sure my needs were met. The location was perfect for a stopover to Cornwall, situated in a beautiful village not far from Longleat or Stonehenge. The dining experience, while delicious, felt a bit too fancy at times when simpler ingredients would have sufficed. The facilities were adequate for my needs.

I couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay! The hotel is nestled in a charming village, making it a perfect halfway stop to Cornwall. The rooms were beautifully done and incredibly comfortable, offering a lovely view of the outside courtyard. The service throughout the weekend was top-notch and really made for a wonderful stay. The dining experience was a mix of fantastic dishes and some personal preferences, but overall memorable. Although the location was a bit isolated, it was ideal for a relaxing evening and convenient for a visit to Longleat. The price was reasonable, considering the value provided, but Wi-Fi was not included and had an additional fee.
